- Procedures for obtaining a visa, re-entry permit and various certificates
- Preparing immigration procedure documents and other related work
Article 4 Composition of the Contract
① The travel contract consists of the travel contract document (attached) together with these Travel Terms and the travel itinerary (or travel description) as its content. ② The travel itinerary (or travel description) shall include, for each day of travel, the destinations and sightseeing content, means of transportation, number of shopping stops, places of accommodation, meals, and other details of the travel schedule, the content of the services the Travel Agency provides, and matters for the traveler's attention.
Article 5 Special Agreements
The Travel Agency and the traveler may enter into special agreements in writing to the extent they do not violate applicable law. In this case, the Travel Agency shall explain to the traveler how they differ from the standard terms.
Article 6 Provision of Safety Information and Delivery of the Contract Document, etc.
When entering into a travel contract with a traveler, the Travel Agency shall provide these Travel Terms and the destination safety information posted on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Overseas Safe Travel website (www.0404.go.kr (opens in a new tab)), and where a travel contract has been entered into, shall deliver one copy each of the contract document and the travel itinerary (or travel description) to the traveler.
Article 7 Deemed Delivery of the Contract Document and Terms, etc.
In the following cases, the travel contract document, these Travel Terms and the travel itinerary (or travel description) are deemed to have been delivered.
- Where the traveler agreed to the content of the travel contract document, terms and travel itinerary (or travel description) provided through an electronic information network such as the internet and applied to enter into the travel contract, and the Travel Agency notified the traveler of its acceptance using the electronic information network or a mechanical device, etc.
- Where the traveler agreed to the content of the travel contract document, terms and travel itinerary (or travel description) provided by the Travel Agency using a mechanical device such as a facsimile and sent a document applying to enter into the travel contract, and the Travel Agency notified the traveler of its acceptance using the electronic information network or a mechanical device, etc.
Article 8 Liability of the Travel Agency
The Travel Agency is liable where the Travel Agency itself, or its employee, the local travel agency or its employee, etc. (hereinafter "agents"), causes damage to the traveler intentionally or negligently in connection with the Travel Agency's duties set out in Article 2① from the time of departure to the time of arrival.
Article 9 Cancellation of the Contract Where the Minimum Number of Participants Is Not Met
① Where the Travel Agency cancels the travel contract because the minimum number of participants has not been met, it shall notify the traveler by 7 days before departure. ② Where the Travel Agency cancels the contract due to a shortfall in the number of participants without giving notice within the period of the preceding paragraph, it shall, in addition to refunding the deposit already received, compensate the traveler the amount under either of the following items.
a. If notified up to 1 day before departure: 30% of the travel fare b. If notified on the day of departure: 50% of the travel fare
Article 10 Refusal to Enter Into the Contract
The Travel Agency may refuse to enter into a contract with a traveler where any of the following reasons applies to the traveler.
- Where it is found that the traveler would inconvenience other travelers or hinder the smooth conduct of the trip
- Where it is found that the trip would be difficult due to illness or other reasons
- Where the maximum number of participants stated in the contract document has been exceeded
Article 11 Travel Fare
① The travel fare in the travel contract document includes the following items. However, for custom travel this follows the agreement between the parties.

- Accommodation charges and meal charges
- Guide expenses
- Various taxes required during the trip
- Domestic and overseas airport/port taxes
- Tourism Promotion and Development Fund charge
- Admission fees for sightseeing spots within the itinerary
- Other costs under individual contracts
② At the time of entering into the contract, the traveler shall pay the Travel Agency a deposit (an amount not exceeding 10% of the travel fare), and the deposit is treated as all or part of the travel fare or of an amount of damages. ③ The traveler shall pay the Travel Agency the balance of the travel fare under paragraph ①, less the deposit, by 7 days before departure. ④ The traveler shall pay the travel fare under paragraph ① by a method such as card, bank transfer, or non-passbook deposit, as agreed between the parties. ⑤ Where travel insurance premiums are included in the fare for a custom trip, the Travel Agency shall explain to the traveler the insurer's name, the content of coverage, and so on.
Article 12 Change in the Travel Fare
① Where, in carrying out the overseas trip, the charges payable to the transportation or accommodation facilities used increase or decrease by 5% or more from the time the contract was entered into, or the foreign-exchange rate applied to the travel fare increases or decreases by 2% or more from the time the contract was entered into, the Travel Agency or the traveler may claim from the other party an increase or decrease in the travel fare within the range of that change. ② Where the Travel Agency increases the travel fare under paragraph ①, it shall notify the traveler 15 days before the date of departure.
Article 13 Requirements for Changing Travel Conditions and Settlement of Fares, etc.
① The travel conditions under Articles 1 through 12 above may be changed only in the following cases.

- Where the purpose of the trip cannot be achieved due to a natural disaster, war, government order, strike or shutdown of a transportation or accommodation facility, or similar
② Where a change in travel fare under Article 11① arises from a change in travel conditions under paragraph ① or a change in travel fare under Article 12, an increase or decrease occurring before departure shall be settled (refunded) before departure, and one occurring during the trip shall be settled (refunded) within 10 days after the trip ends. ③ Where travel conditions are changed other than in accordance with paragraph ①, or where an amount of damages arises from cancellation or termination of the contract under Article 14 or 15, an amount arising before departure shall be settled (refunded) before departure, and one arising during the trip shall be settled (refunded) within 10 days after the trip ends. ④ Where, after departure, a traveler fails to receive a service included in the travel fare — such as accommodation, meals, or sightseeing — for reasons of their own, the traveler may not claim a refund of the corresponding fare from the Travel Agency. However, where the trip ends partway through, this is handled in accordance with Article 16.
Article 14 Damages
① Where a local travel agency or similar causes damage to the traveler intentionally or negligently, the Travel Agency shall compensate the traveler for the damage. ② Where, for a reason attributable to the Travel Agency, the traveler's visa, re-entry permit or other certificates necessary for the overseas trip could not be obtained and the traveler's travel itinerary was disrupted as a result, the Travel Agency shall compensate the traveler the full amount received from the traveler for the procedure agency work, plus an amount equivalent to 100% of that amount. ③ The Travel Agency shall compensate the traveler for damage suffered due to delayed departure or arrival, or congestion, of a transportation facility such as an aircraft, train or vessel. This shall not apply, however, where the Travel Agency proves it was without intent or negligence. ④ The Travel Agency is not relieved of liability to compensate for damage arising from the loss, damage or delayed arrival of a traveler's baggage, unless it proves that it or its agents did not neglect due care regarding the receipt, delivery or custody of the traveler's baggage.

Article 17 Start and End of the Trip
The trip begins at the time check-in procedures (or, for a vessel, boarding procedures) are completed, and the trip ends at the time the traveler leaves the bonded area of the arrivals hall.
