Article 1 (Common principles for all payments)
① All payments on Maptlantis are made only by credit/debit card payment through PortOne. Bank transfer, cash, and transfer to a company account are not offered as payment methods. ② The Company does not receive or hold transaction funds in the Company's own name. Funds are paid to the seller through the payment gateway, and the Company receives only the fee set out in this document. ③ The Company does not provide payment escrow. ④ Any contact impersonating a Company employee or operator to request a transfer to a personal account, a deposit, or a "safe transaction" fee is impersonation. If you receive such a request, please let us know at info@maptlantis.com.
Article 2 (Fees borne by users)
① There is no separate fee for searching for products, making an inquiry, requesting a booking, or viewing and buying a listing in the Marketplace. ② The only amount a member pays is the deposit or listing price shown on screen; the Company does not separately charge a member an intermediary fee or a card-payment fee. ③ Overseas-usage fees and currency-conversion fees that a card issuer charges on an overseas card payment or foreign-currency payment are a matter between the card issuer and the member, and the Company is not involved.
Article 3 (Fees in the used-gear marketplace)
① Listing an item, uploading photos, searching, saving to a wish list, and conversing with a seller are free. No listing fee or exposure/advertising fee of any kind is charged. ② Where a transaction is made by card payment, the selling member bears 5% of the sale amount as a selling fee. The fee includes the card-payment fee, so no payment-gateway fee is deducted from the selling member on top of it. The fee is deducted at settlement and rounded to the nearest won. ③ The buying member bears no fee. ④ No fee is charged in the following cases.
- Where members traded directly with each other by direct trade or courier, without payment
- Where the payment was cancelled and refunded in full
Where a partial refund is made, the fee is recalculated based on the amount actually attributed to the selling member.
⑤ The Marketplace's card-payment feature is not yet open. No fee of any kind is charged before the feature opens, and the timing of opening will be announced in advance under Article 4 of the Terms of Service.
Article 4 (Refunds and fees)
① The payment fee is not deducted from an amount refunded through cancellation. Whatever the reason for the refund, the amount the member paid is processed as is. ② Payment-gateway fees incurred during the refund process are borne by the Company. ③ The Company does not decline a card payment on account of the payment fee, nor does it induce cash payment by offering a different price than for card payment. ④ The processing period for authorization and cancellation by payment method is set out in Article 8 of the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Article 5 (Receipts and supporting documents)
① Issuance of a cash receipt or sales slip for the amount a member paid is handled through the payment gateway and can be checked on the payment-history screen. ② For a transaction the Company intermediates as a mail-order intermediary, the obligation to issue supporting documents for the product price or listing price lies with the seller. ③ A transaction in which an individual sells their own used gear on a one-off basis does not generate documents that only a business can issue. A member who sells repeatedly or on a business basis must complete business registration and mail-order business reporting under applicable law.
Article 6 (Changes to the rate)
① The Company may change the rate according to the Service's operational needs. ② Where the rate is increased, notice is given through an in-Service announcement from 30 days before the effective date. ③ A transaction already paid for is subject to the rate that applied at that time.
Article 7 (Inquiries)
Inquiries about fees may be directed to info@maptlantis.com or the customer center at 0505-115-1234.
