바하마 건기(11월~5월)의 12월은 습도가 낮고 비가 적어 얕은 리프와 샌드바에서의 스노클에 적합한 달이다. 공원 관리기관 안내대로 육상·해양공원은 금채구역이라 어류 밀도가 높고, 겨울 수온 24~27℃라 짧은 슈트면 충분하다. 허리케인 시즌(6~11월)이 끝난 직후다.
