추크의 건기(12월~4월) 후반인 3월은 잔잔한 라군과 좋은 시야가 유지되는 구간으로, 리브어보드는 라군 곳곳에 흩어진 난파선을 하루 여러 차례 도는 데 유리하다. 5월 이후 우기에는 강우와 폭풍으로 시야가 낮아질 수 있다. 심도 있는 난파선이 많아 AOW 이상이 권장된다.
