PADI 기준 안다만의 정점 시즌은 12월~3월로 건조한 날씨와 약한 조류가 특징이며, 12월은 그 첫 달이다. 10월~11월은 몬순 직후의 어깨 시즌으로 물이 맑고 한산하다고 현지 운영사는 안내한다. 6월~9월 몬순에는 운영이 제한되므로 12월은 안정 구간의 시작이다.
