수단 리브어보드는 연중 운항하지만 해머헤드 시즌은 1월~4월로 안내되며, 샤브루미에서는 11월~4월에 회색암초상어·실키상어와 함께 해머헤드가 특히 자주 관찰된다. 11월~6월 건기는 시야가 더 좋고 12월~3월은 수온이 24~27℃로 가장 낮다. 3월은 해머헤드 시즌과 건기 시야가 겹치는 달이다. 샤브루미에는 쿠스토의 1960년대 콘셸프 II 잔해가 남아 있다.
