국립공원청 기준 붉은게 이동은 10월 또는 11월에 시작하지만 늦으면 12월·1월까지 밀리며, 산란은 하현달 기간의 빠지는 만조에 맞춰 해안에서 이뤄져 장비 없이 육상에서 볼 수 있다. 12월은 이동이 늦어진 해에 산란 단계를 볼 수 있는 구간이고, 2026년 1월에는 10년에 두 번꼴이라는 대규모 새끼 게 귀환이 보도됐다. 최성기 도로 통제와 공원 직원 안내를 따라야 한다.
