[Writing example] Review: write what went well and what didn't, separately
Community guide · 2026-09-06
This is an example of a review post. It isn't a real review, so the operator's name is hidden as ○○. Use the format below to write your own review. ─── Example ─── • When and what: ○ 2026, two boat fun dives with ○○ Dive Center • With: one friend with Open Water What went well • In the pre-dive briefing they drew a map of the site and explained the direction of the current. • They asked our equipment sizes when we booked, so everything fit as soon as we arrived. What could have been better • The afternoon boat left 30 minutes late without any notice. For the next person • Visibility was better on the morning dives. If you can, I'd recommend the morning schedule. ─── Tips ─── • Start with when you went and which programme you joined. • Separate what went well from what didn't, and describe what actually happened. • Facts such as times, group size and equipment help more than feelings like "it was the best". • Only review what you used yourself. • If you received a discount or something for free, please say so.
