라양라양의 해머헤드 교미기는 4월과 5월이며, 보르네오 서안 전체의 최적기(3월~5월)와도 겹친다. 5월은 해머헤드 시즌의 마지막 달이자 리조트 개장 기간(3월~8월) 안에서 조우 확률이 가장 높은 구간이다. 깊은 수역의 원양 다이빙이므로 상급 자격이 요구된다.
